Cascade Canoe & Kayak Centre Home of the REI Paddling School in Washington State, Cascade offers programs for women and youth at two great on-the-water locations: Enatai Beach Park, Bellevue, Washington and Houghton Beach Park, Kirkland, Washington. The Centre is under the direction of former US Team Member and National Team Development Coach, Dan Henderson. Programs for Women: "Learn to Sea Kayak"-beginning course includes maneuvering strokes; how to work with the wind, small waves and gently flowing current; basic navigation, crossings and paddling with a group. West Coast Expeditions West Coast Expeditions, from its basecamp in Kyuquot (Vancouver Island) BC has been offering educational nature tours since 1974. Diane would like to thank the folks at Harrison Cove Lodge for a wonderful visit. Tim and Nicole are excellent hosts, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
