17' Necky Looksha IV touring sit-in sea kayak. Gray color and is equipped with rudder and two watertight storage hatches. The boat is in good condition with normal wear, including the scratches plastic boats get from encounters with barnacles, rocks, etc., but all cosmetic.
Necky made this boat with multi-chines and it carves turns very easily with a little guiding lean. It has good initial stability that is smooth as you lean further into its solid secondary stability. If you want the simplest of handling just drop the rudder into the water. It is a nice and forgiving boat that does well in a variety of conditions. For campers it has plenty of room with large easy to load hatches for camping (have used it for trips up to 10 days).
Boat has SOLAS reflective tape added at points to improve visibility. Also has an under-deck mount for a standard bilge pump, letting you get it off the deck. Replaced rear deck bungee to make paddle float re-entry easier.
This has been my spare boat for the past few years, and I decided that it was getting so little use, I might as well sell it.
