Wavelength's B.C. Coast Map and Trip Planner Series

Arriving in 2009 and 2010: Foldout, colourful, large-format maps of key regions of the BC coast. Published on heavy gloss stock, these maps will be perfect for trip planning and reference, combining detailed road routes to coastal locations, land features such as campsites, hiking trails, viewpoints and amenities along the way, with marine features. One side will feature a larger-reference regional overview, with side two pinpointing the water recreation features in a much larger-scale format. This makes them perfect to use for both land-based and water-based exploration.

Sample shown is the regional overview of the Broken Group / Barkley Sound map.

This is an exceptional destination marketing opportunity for tourism operators in the regions that will be covered by the Wavelength map series. Why? People who purchase these maps are almost certainly going to be visitors to your area, and will require services - food, accommodation, tours, and other ideas on things to do. Don't let your target market slip by!

Other advantages:

  • The map series will be promoted through the magazine to its distribution network that covers the Pacific coast from Alaska to California. For the current listing of drop-off locations, visit here. Also, see the promotional ad for the back page of the fall 2008 edition of Wavelength.

  • The maps will be part of a distribution network that will see them in prime store locations across the Pacific Northwest.

  • The maps will be heavily promoted on the website allowing online shopping to a worldwide audience.

  • Advertisers will have the added advantage of being able to place their business location directly on the map, with a letter system keying the business location to the ad, and visa versa.

  • High-quality stock, printing and cartography will combine to make this the must-have reference for visitors.

  • Your ad will remain on the maps and be aggressively marketed for at least the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
