Did you know Wavelength Magazine has a baby sister? It's Wild Coast Magazine, the only outdoor recreation magazine for the British Columbia coast that takes you well beyond just paddles to include hiking, surfing, spelunking, climbing - in fact, just about every non-motorized, The first issue was published in May 2008 as a test sample, but plans for more issues in 2008 were sidelined as the parent company purchased Wavelength Magazine. Wild Coast Magazine will return in June 2009 as the best destination marketing option available on the BC coast. > Download the premier issue (17 mb). > Visit the Wild Coast Magazine website. > Get advertising information for the Wavelength/Wild Coast family. |
What Wild Coast readers are saying:
"Just finished reading your new magazine, and I have to congratulate you on a great job. Great stories, fantastic pictures and an overall good layout."
"Hey, I picked up a copy of your magazine at Valhalla Pure today and I really like it! Great articles, and I like how it's multi-sport as well! I'm a hiker and a mountain biker, like kayaking but don't have my own boat, and want to learn to surf someday, so it was cool seeing it all in once place!"
"I enjoyed reading your mag. Makes me wonder why I ever left the coast for the Monashees (just kidding). Keep up the great work!"
"I'm a journalist from the U.S. who is a die-hard fan of Vancouver Island, and a friend in Nanaimo sent me the inaugural issue of Wild Coast magazine. Good job! I particularly enjoyed the pieces about the North Coast Trail -- I covered the trail for Backpacker magazine two years ago, back when everyone in BC Parks thought it would open "any day." It's great to see that the trail is open, and I thoroughly enjoyed your coverage. Keep up the great work!"
"I have just read your new magazine and enjoyed it very much. I wish you success in your endeavour to produce a quality magazine for self-propelled recreation enthusiasts."
